Composer-director Mees Vervuurt searches for new performers / mimers / singers / musicians for his coming performances.
Together with his foundation ‘Studio Vacuüm’, Mees Vervuurt creates transdisciplinary, site- specific performances with a focus on music. We create poetical, absurd worlds in which we bring philosophy, music, movement and location together in order to challenge the visitor to relate to sound and space.
Mees searches for:
- movers with an own movement language (mime, dance, performance)
- singers from different genres (from classical to experimental, reading music is a plus)
- musicians from all kind of genres (experience in improvisation is a plus)
- (creating) performers who move between disciplines
For these projects, Studio Vacuüm is working together with i.e. O. Festival, Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ, Muziektheater Transparant, Oerol & Opera North.
